Alexander Isak is reportedly in Spain preparing to move to Liverpool.
The Swedish striker has become the sole focus of Liverpool after closing the deal for Hugo Ekitike.
The Reds are prepared to offer Newcastle United a British record transfer to secure the services of the 25-year-old.
Isak himself is keen on the move and has already made this clear to Newcastle.
He has also agreed on personal terms with Liverpool, with a six-year deal expected when he signs.
Ahead of a potential move to Anfield, Isak is not currently with the Newcastle first-team squad as he continues to recover from injury.
According to the latest report, he has travelled to Spain, where he is working with a personal trainer and preparing for his move to Liverpool.
“Alexander Isak’s future is beginning to look clearer.
The player, who did not travel with Newcastle on their Asian tour due to thigh discomfort amid strong rumors about his departure from the club, is currently in Zubieta, where he is working with a fitness trainer to recover from his injury and continue his preparations for the start of next season, which the Swedish striker looks set to do in a Liverpool shirt,” Spanish oulet El Diario Vasco, wrote.
